Goal of the Activity

The goal of our events is to help students get to know the city and it's surroundings.

Also we want to bring them together to find new friends and get to know other cultures, for this we organize different events like parties, trips, sports events and many more.

Description

We published the event with this description:

The Chiemsee is the largest lake in Bavaria and a lovely destination all year round. Flanked by mountains to the south, the lake has two beautiful islands which can be reached by a ferry. The famous Herrenchiemsee Palace is located on the larger Herreninsel ("gentlemen's island"). Built by King Ludwig II, who also commissioned other lavish palaces including Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace, Herrenchiemsee Palace was meant to be a replica of the Palace of Versailles.

On this trip, we will take the train through the majestic Bavarian countryside to the small city of Prien, where we will take the ferry to the Herreninsel. After a tour of Herrenchiemsee Palace, you will have some free time on the island.

Included in the registration fee:

Train from Munich to Prien

Ferry between Prien and Herreninsel

Admission to Herrenchiemsee Palace

Train from Prien to Munich
