Goal of the Activity
Raising awareness and fundraising.
Description
Worldwide, nearly 1 in 3 people must walk at least 5km to reach a source of clean water. For them, there is no alternative: drinking contaminated water has devastating consequences, including disease and malnutrition, which kills nearly 2 million children every year.
ESN Brescia wants to support the association Action Against Hunger, participating in a special walk on Mount Magdalene, to relive the feelings of those who every day are forced to walk a long way to a source of clean water.
