Goal of the Activity

The goal is to help students have a better nutrition, more specifically regarding the so called "brain foods", that is, nutrients that will help them focus and study, and feel better overall.

Description

Difficulty concentrating, negative moods and a lack of memory can be the consequences of an incorrect or nutrient-poor diet. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to a sufficient supply of various nutrients. Our brain uses around 20% of the total energy intake and in addition, it is dependent on the regular intake of carbohydrates. But what exactly is "Brainfood"? Which foods benefit our "grey cells"? And which foods cause a decrease in performance? This lecture gives you extensive information about brain food and shows which foods you should definitely integrate into your everyday life to feel mentally fit, balanced, happy and efficient.
