To make Erasmus students visit Bologna, also making them appreciate the history of the city and the traditional food.
The day started with the students gathering at 7.30 am at Lambrate FS bus station. After the roll call, we
headed to Bologna. The bus trip lasted about two and a half hours. Once we arrived at the central station of
Bologna we met with Francesco, a guy who studies at the University of Bologna and who was able to help us
during the tour of the city. As we left early we decided to stop in one of the most famous bars in the city.
After the coffee break, we started a city tour reaching Piazza Maggiore to continue the walk towards the
historic center and explaining history and most characteristics anedoctes of Bologna.
At 1.15 pm we went for lunch at Locanda Le Donzelle, a place where the Erasmus students were
able to try tigelle accompanied with local cold cuts, cheeses, and local wine. Around 3.00 pm, we left some free
time: in this way Erasmus students had the pleasure to chose which part of the city center visit. In fact some visited the churches and museums of the city while others have preferred to shop souvenirs, tortellini and tigelle. At around 6.15 we went back to the bus station where once we counted the Erasmus we went back to
Milan.
