The goal of the activity was to organize a training event for our new volunteers to learn everything they need to know about ESN and about how our Section works.
We rented a room at Centro Giovani Esprit in Parma for the whole day. We organized different sessions for the training event: Board structure and Section's rules, Relationship with the University's International Office, how to organize a trip, how to manage the Section's treasury, ESN Italy and our "Coordinamento" (Group of Italian Sections that we are part of), risk management. The event lasted the entire day and there were both presentations and workshops held by our local Board and Training Manager. The main theme was the galaxy and outer space, hence the official name of the event.
