Goal of the Activity
Promotion of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership while encouraging social interaction, volunteering and community engagement among students.
Description
Students in cooperation with a local animal shelter representatives and their dogs indulged in a guided session, which included walking and caring for dogs under the supervision of shelter staff. Volunteers and shelter staff facilitated the activity, providing instructions and ensuring safety for both animals and participants. The event aimed to create a meaningful experience by combining volunteer work, outdoor activity and opportunities for students to socialize and build connections with fellow participants.
