The goal of the activity was to promote inclusion among Erasmus students and introduce them to Bergamo, from its historic upper town to its local traditions like the Christmas markets.
This experience encouraged interaction, cultural appreciation, and a sense of belonging within the local context.
The activity involved organizing a day trip for a group of Erasmus students to discover Bergamo’s unique character. Starting with a scenic ride on the funicular, participants explored the historic Città Alta, guided by a local representative from ESN Bergamo who provided context and insights. Afterwards, the group ventured into the lower part of the city, visiting the Christmas markets and
immersing themselves in local traditions and holiday festivities.
