The goal of the activity is to raise awareness about the sea and land pollution problem, to foster volunteering and to support local activities of partners that brought the enviromental cause in their business.
Furthermore we took the opportunity to support local culture and artisit including a tour of the city and local museum.
We organized a day of care for the environment, culture, local food and fun.
In collaboration with Pescaria restaurant cleaned up the picturesque beach of Lama Monachile. We armed ourself with good will while Pescaria provided us water (strictly in aluminum, reusable bottles), gloves, hats and bags! volunteers who delivered the bag of collected waste recieved a voucher valid for one person for a sandwich from Pescaria.
We've than done a Walking tour of the small streets with an amazing view in the old town of Polignano Leading to the museum of contemporary arts Pino Pascali, one of the most important Apulian artists, having revolutionized the way of making art and using matter is considered one of the master of Italian poor art.
