Goal of the Activity
Introducing Erasmus students to the city of Bari, its historic centre, its monuments and its experiences through this city tour.
Description
We met in Piazza Ferrarese, the main square of the ancient city of Bari, and toured the narrow streets of Bari Vecchia, the Cathedral of San Sabino, the Basilica of San Nicola, passing by the old city walls and the Swabian Castle, and the old and famous theatres of Bari, while our tour guides told us the history and legends of Bari and its saints in English and Spanish. The city tour ended at Largo Albicocca, where we had dinner with our traditional panzerotto and sgagliozze (typical Bari street food).
