Objective / Goal of the activity
The goal of the activity is to bring the international students together with elderly in Wageningen to improve the integration of the society.
Description
ESN Wageningen students went to an Indonesian elderly home where they baked 'pepernoten' with the elderly living there. The elderly could tell stories about their youth in Indonesia and the ESN members could tell stories about their home country and their experiences in the Netherlands.
Result of the activity
ESN members could give something back to society and the elderly got some attention. Also cultural experiences were shared.
