For international students to learn about and actively contribute to local social initiatives, in this case, visiting the facilities of the ASPROAN dog shelter and taking some of the shelter's dogs for walks. Participants also contribute through donations (usually dog food) as a fee for the activity.
Once at the Meeting Point, the volunteers drive the students to the shelter. Upon arrival, we collect donations to give to a shelter manager. With their help, we prepare the dogs for their walk and introduce them to the students, as well as give them the caretakers' instructions. Once outside the shelter, we walk to a dog park along the coast, where you can play with the dogs and rest or talk so the students can get to know each other better. After a while, we return to the shelter to return the dogs and drive back to the Meeting Point.
