The goal of the activity is to foster an open dialogue about feminism and how it changed over the years, why it is important and what it really stands for, educating volunteers and students on the theme while exchanging different opinions and perspectives in an informal way.
The aperitif took place in a local bar, where we offered a drink to the participants and held our debate on intersectional feminism, talking about themes like the social condition of women in different countries, the gender pay gap, disinformation and the importance of divulgation, especially on social media, the body positivity movement, and the marginalisation of the transgender community. We wrapped up the evening with a kahoot on Intersectional Feminism, where the participants would answer questions about feminism and its history while learning more about it through the explanation of the answers. At the end the winner got an ESN Udine gadget as a prize.
