Goal of the Activity

The activity supports a local animal shelter by walking dogs, petting cats, and donating essential supplies to help care for the animals. Participants enjoy a fun and relaxing time in nature, bonding with animals and contributing to their own well-being. This experience fosters a sense of community and solidarity, allowing everyone to connect with each other and make a positive impact while embracing the joy of being outdoors with animals.

Description

In this enriching evening event, participants meet to walk the dogs at the "Lesė" Vilnius Shelter. They learn valuable skills in dog walking, helping the animals get fresh air and exercise while promoting their well-being. This hands-on activity fosters a sense of responsibility and solidarity, as participants contribute to the shelter by bringing donations, requested by the shelter itself. In addition to walking the dogs, participants have a chance to visit the cats at "Lesė" and learn more about their lives in the shelter. This experience encourages community engagement, empathy, and a meaningful connection to both the animals and each other, while making a positive impact on the shelter's efforts.
