We as ESNIsik, first we wanted to create solutions to the issues that around us. So, the first think that came into our minds was the animals in our campus and Şile. We wanted to supply to appropriate conditions for them before the winter come.
Since our campus is pretty big, we have a lot of animals in our campus and the place where our school is. We have a little dog shelter in our campus and numerous cats and dogs except the shelter. There are a couple of people that take care of them in our school, they have been fed most of the time but they always need attention and care. Speacially in the winter time, they become out of food and they don't take the care that they need.
We as the animal lovers of ESNIsik, wanted to start a project. Starting from Social Inclusion Days, we will feed the animals regularly and give them to care and love that they need. We determined specific days in week that we can go there, feed them and take care of them, and take care of the places that they sleep and spend their times.
We took the first step with Social Inclusion Days; we went to dog shelter in our campus, we fed the dogs, and took care of their little houses and food containers. And then we went another places where the cat houses are, we fed them also. Then we refreshed their water and played with them.
After we finish feeding them, we determined some feeding spots that we can put cat and dog foods daily, so that we can feed them regularly.
Then when we finish feeding and caring the animals, we took a long walk in the campus. The weather was cold but we were full of with energy after we had time with our animal friends. We shared some ideas and did brainstorming in order to develop our project and see what we can do to include more people to this project.
It was such productive two days for us. We are so happy and proud we took part in Social Inclusion Days.
