Goal of the Activity
To introduce Erasmus/international students to the Italian Carnival tradition and raise awareness among the local community about the importance of social integration
Description
The activity, organized by the Municipality of Ancona, included a masked parade through the city center, culminating in Piazza Cavour, where the costumed groups were awarded. We dressed in flags and traditional costumes, each representing our own country or the country where we were on mobility, with the aim of showing the community how cultural exchange can enrich our society. The citizens were very impressed by our initiative, and there were many interactions between our Erasmus students and the local residents.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
