Goal of the Activity

A walk with alpacas and llamas has a positive influence on students' mental health and well-being, as these animals work in therapy on a daily basis and also spending time outside rather than in front of a computer, helps students rest and escape the mundane routine. The goal was to help students rest, meet the alpacas and llamas, and learn some facts about them, but also to integrate people.

Description

Alpacalypse is an event designed to encourage Erasmus students and ESN section members to take a break from everyday life. Walking with alpacas and llamas has a positive impact on one's mood and helps in mental relaxation, as these are animals that work in therapy every day. The event was held with the help of the Alpaca Foundation in Kashuby and its founder conducted the walk and complemented the trip with educational value. A few hours walk as a form of physical activity allows integration with other participants. The trip ended with a bonfire.
