The goal of this activity is to show to the erasmus students that in the 21st century there still so many people that was illegally arrested and that are treated worse than some animals, sometimes only because of their opinions.
Amnesty International every year organize this event where people can come and copy the letter that is demanding releasing illegally arrested people from prison. All the copied letters are later send to the Amnesty International that sends all of them to the corresponding places. The aim is to make a bigger pressure. Every year they choose some people and spread their story to the world. Erasmus students can read the stories and then choose one of them and write the letter. Also, as the Amnesty International operate in many states, they can later get involved in their country.
