The goal of the activity was to gather together animal lovers to help a dog shelter a little bit outside of Zagreb. Also, we were encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle by dog-walking in nature.
Every year we organize events to help a dog shelter as much as we can!
Noina Arka in Dumovec is an animal shelter formed to help abandoned and mistreated animals. At this time of the year, they need to prepare the shelter for winter, and all help they can get is welcome.
We will walk the dogs, play with them and offer to help the dog shelter, all while having a good time!
In a world full of people who couldn’t care less, be someone who couldn’t care more!
Our collaboration with Noina Arka is growing as we always make a very successful event together (in the last few years we visited them more than 10 times). Around 20 Erasmus students helped around the dog shelter and 2 local volunteers ( from Noina Arka are now introduced with ESN and Erasmus+ program so we are encouraging multiculturism and intercultural dialogue.
