Goal of the Activity

The activity had the aim to promote International students socialization with each other, so let them get acquainted with each other with the help of physical activities. Other than that, Get them to know more about them Section.

Description

The event was organized as an afternoon of sports and other activities at the CUS (University Sports Center) near Lake Caldonazzo. Since the event location was outside the regional capital, participants traveled to and from the city by train.

The recreational activities were set up as short team tournaments, which helped structure the day around sports activities. This also gave the international students a chance to interact and get to know each other.

This interaction was encouraged by the time after their arrival but before the tournaments began. Volunteers prepared a buffet with drinks and snacks for the students, which they enjoyed while chatting with each other. The volunteers kept the buffet going throughout the event.

The whole day was accompanied by a playlist that was curated together with the participating students.

The sports offered were chosen based on the available facilities at the location, including volleyball, spikeball, ping pong, and five-a-side football. There was a great turnout from the international students, who enjoyed a sunny, warm late summer afternoon.

The weather also made it possible for the lake water temperature to be perfect for swimming. Some students took the opportunity to swim before grabbing a bite at the buffet or joining one of the tournaments.

At the end of the event, volunteers accompanied the participants to the train station, where they got their train to go back home, spending a bit more time together.
