Goal of the Activity

Greeting the incoming Erasmus students in a cosy local restaurant for a dinner to eat classic German food 'Schnitzel'. Of course, the restaurant had vegan and vegetarian food selections too.

The restaurant was only open for us. Dinner was on the first day of the Erasmus Welcome Weeks. So, we wanted to get to know students and create a nice environment for the students to get to know each other.

Description

ESN Siegen welcomed all new Erasmus students to their Erasmus university with a welcome dinner! It took place in a restaurant called "Schwarzes Schaf" to enjoy a typical German dinner together, get to know each other and connect!

Schwarzes Schaf is a place well-known for making the best Schnitzels (a traditional German food), so we thought - "what better place is there for a Welcome Dinner?". And obviously, for the people who don't eat pork or meat in general, there are also halal, vegetarian and vegan options to choose from!

ESN Siegen gave them a discount on their meal, but due to ESN's general policy, all drinks had to be paid on their own!
