The goal of the activity was to give visibility to dogs' adoption while spending some time with the dogs themselves.
DogHorseCity and AnimalSoulResque are two animal sanctuaries in Toledo. Since Toledo is a rural area with not a lot of population, these organizations bring a few dogs to the center of Madrid in order to give visibility to their adopotion and the work their associations do.
ESN and these associations decided to colaborate and volunteer together. Thus we met with them on Saturday morning and each international student was asigned a specific dog. They were told about that dog's history and the work that these associations do. So all volunteers spent the day together in a square in the center of Madrid with the animals and telling bystanders about this topic.
