The goal of the activity was to foster volunteering and to integrate our members into the workforce, allowing them to gain work experience in close contact with high-level organizing committees.
From 20 to 23 June 2024, a beautiful beach volleyball event occurred in our city, Messina. It was a tournament, organised by CEV (Confédération Européenne de Volleyball) and Volleyball World, valid for the qualifiers to the Paris 2024 Olympics. Our volunteers collaborated as interpreters for the 56 teams of professional players. They played a crucial role, ensuring the translation of interviews for local newspapers and television. Additionally, they translated the mayor's opening and closing speeches, highlighting the event's significance for the local community and the international sports scene. Their active participation in organizing this special world-class event significantly contributed to its success.
