Goal of the Activity
The aim of the activity was to help homeless cats and also raise awareness of taking care of animals among our participants. The secondary goal of this event was to spend quality time with cats which could lead to raised well-being and relaxation.
Description
On 21st November, together with Erasmus students, we visited an animal shelter in Poznań. After signing volunteer agreements and touring the facility, we began our mission: cleaning and caring for cats in catteries. In three-person teams, we changed litter, cleaned rooms and cleaned beds. In 2.5 hours, we managed to clean 10 catteries. After work, it was time to play and pet the cats, who were eager to make contact. It was a wonderful and satisfying day spent helping animals!
