Goal of the Activity
To help the international students integrate into Lithuanian society by showing our festivals and customs.
Description
„Užgavėnės" is a festival filled with food, dance & and unforgettable fun! It's about celebrating the end of winter and welcoming spring. Expect lots of pancakes, the burning of More (a straw statue) to symbolise the birth of spring and a battle between „Porker"' (personification of winter) and "Hemper" (personification of spring).
Be ready to immerse yourself into Lithuanian culture and traditions.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
