Turkish Culture Evening

We asked students from Turkey to prepare a presentation about their culture and country with a tasting of traditional dishes. The presentation had several parts (general information about the location, population, currency - history - inventions and celebrities - attractions - tourist attractions - what you should know about the country and its population - basic Turkish phrases). The presentation was followed by a tasting of traditional Turkish food with an explanation of the occasions on which the food is served and what the dining looks like. Allergens have been reported for meals. This was followed by a short demonstration of Turkish dances. The evening had to be completed by 10 pm, as there are private apartments above the company, whose residents have an agreement with the company to minimize noise after 10 pm.

Oslovili jsme studenty z Turecka, zda by připravili prezentaci o své kultuře a zemi s ochutnávkou tradičních jídel. Prezentace měla několik částí (obecné informace o poloze, obyvatelstvu, měně - historie - vynálezy a slavné osobnosti - zajímavosti - turisticky atraktivní místa - co byste o zemi a jejím obyvatelstvu měli vědět - základní turecké fráze). Po prezentaci následovala ochutnávka tradičního tureckého jídla i s vysvětlením, při jakých příležitostech se jídlo podává a jak vypadá stolování. U jídel byly sepsány alergeny. Poté následovala krátká ukázka tureckých tanců. Večer musel být ukončen do 22 hodiny večerní, neboť nad podnikem se nachází soukromé byty, jejichž obyvatelé mají s podnikem dohodu o minimalizaci hluku po 22 hodině.
