The objective of this excursion was to promote Belgian tourism and culture in cities less known by people visiting Belgium. We chose the capital of Wallonia, Namur for its charming little streets, its incredible citadel and mainly for its importance as a city.
We took the train together from central Brussels, the activities we did were: visit the citadelle, have lunch in a typical Namur restaurant, we visited the royal Namur theater, witness typical folklore tradition " Les échasseurs" and finally go to the Félicien Rops museum.
The result was positive since we managed to get many people interested in this trip being a city not very famous. Our international students were very pleased with the experience, we not only promoted tourism in this city but we also tried to support local businesses.
