Goal of the Activity

The main objective of the Trento Erasmus Games was to involve our Erasmus students in football, basketball, and volleyball tournaments. It was also a way to introduce them to the National Erasmus Games and encourage them to participate. The TEG were the culmination of a "sport week" in which we organized several tournaments and sports activities aimed at involving participants in team play but also in healthy competition. We spent the whole day together and this gave us volunteers the opportunity to bond even more with our Erasmus students. We also took part in the matches as players or as referees. It was a beautiful day in which all the participants had fun and put their sports skills to the test, but they also proved to be able to play in a team and enjoy a healthy competition.

Description

Each participant could choose to take part in each sport. There was a minimum number of participants for each team and each of the teams had to be mixed (male and female). Each team filled out a google form with the names of the participants and sent it to us to allow us to organize the matches. We chose the form of tournament with elimination matches, so we arrived at a final and awarded first, second and third place. If they had not formed a team they could join and be added to a team already formed.
