Goal of the Activity
To promote environmental awareness and creativity by encouraging students to repurpose recycled materials into artistic creations, highlighting the importance of sustainability and responsible waste management.
Description
Students took part in a hands-on workshop where they transformed recycled materials (such as plastic, paper, cardboard and fabric) into unique pieces of art. Volunteers introduced the concept of upcycling and provided guidance, tools, and inspiration for various creative techniques. The activity fostered teamwork, environmental responsibility and artistic expression, while demonstrating how everyday waste can be turned into something valuable.
