One of the main goals of this activity is related to the promotion of Portuguese culture through sharing the history of Portugal and Lisbon. This activity also intends to integrate international students into the local and international environment.
This tour takes international students to the heart of Lisbon, Baixa—the downtown district characterized by grand buildings, historical landmarks, and the unique 18th-century Pombaline architecture memorializing the city’s reconstruction after the devastating Earthquake of 1755. With Rossio located right next door, in these two neighborhoods, international students can find a lot of landmarks, like Praça do Comércia, Rua Augusta, Santa Justa lift, and the best viewpoints.
Apart from reaching our objectives with success, our international students had the opportunity to spend a beautiful afternoon in one of the most beautiful cities in the heart of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
