Description
"Filottete," a play by Sophocles, was performed by students of Sapienza University of Rome. The narrative follows the abandoned warrior Philoctetes, whose divine bow is essential for the Greek victory at Troy. As Odisseus and Neottolemo attempt to persuade him to join the fight, the performance explores themes of suffering, isolation, and redemption.
