Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity was to turn food scraps into delicious dishes in a fun and creative way by having fun, learning new skills, and making a positive impact by reducing food waste.

Description

On Thursday, 28 November, we organised an event called Taste the Waste, during which we showed how to use ingredients that often end up in the bin. It was attended by 11 participants, ready to experiment creatively in the kitchen and learn new ways to not waste food.

Together we prepared several unique dishes, using ingredients such as potato peels, apple peels, and cauliflower leaves. The result was surprisingly tasty dishes that proved that seemingly "waste" can be a great base for creating something delicious and healthy.

The event was an opportunity to talk about sustainable development, reducing food waste, and creativity in everyday cooking. Participants shared their ideas and were inspired to continue working in the spirit of "zero waste". Working together and tasting the prepared dishes created a unique, integrative atmosphere.
