Objective / Goal of the activity

As part of the Social Inclusion Days, we always want to show to the international students the Tactual Museum, which is an alternative museum. The "Tactual Museum" is part of a bigger association called "Faros" which is an association for people with visual impairment. There, people can get familiarized with Braille writing and reading, as well as other activities that help people with visual disabilities in their everyday life! People can experience the exhibits through the other senses compared to other museums that people are not allowed to touch the exhibits. This means that people can also experience things without the sense of vision and through this event we can raise awareness about visual impairment!

Result of the activity

Overall, it was a very successful event, we managed to have the expected amount of participants despite some last-minute cancellations. The international students were curious about the nature of the museum and how is a tactile museum going to be like. But they were amazed and we also had the chance to discuss a bit after the tour in the museum. Moreover, the 2euro fee wasn't an obstacle to the attendance rate!
