The objective of the activity was twofold:
-to introduce our international students to some of the most important environmental associations in our city: Legambiente and GreenPeace were present.
-to make the participants reflect on the themes of responsible consumption and the socio-environmental impacts of fast fashion.
The Swap Party is an activity consisting of exchanging used clothes and accessories, as opposed to the fast fashion phenomenon. Leftover clothes are donated to charities. This is the third time we have co-organised this event, in collaboration with Legambiente, Greenpeace and other small local organisations. As part of the event, an organic snack was offered, with compostable or reusable plates to minimise our waste production.
