Goal of the Activity
The goal is to promote responsible consumption and waste decrease with the students by encouraging them to exchange clothes and other items they no longer need as well as to support local communities by donating the remaining items to charity.
Description
The activity was organised in a city park and during 1,5 hours students could bring their clothes and other things, which were displayed on a bench so other students could look at them. The venue was also close to the public transport stops and to the public toilet which could serve as a changing room.
After the event the remaining items were collected and later donated to a local charity organisation (Odevna banka), which helps single parents in Slovakia.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
