Goal of the Activity
Learning and experiencing a part of German history and learn about the various aspects of it.
Description
Ever wondered about those 10x10cm metal blocks laid into the pavement in Siegen and in Germany in general? They are called Stolpersteine and commemorates people who were persecuted between 1933 and 1945. Their names and fate are engraved on the blocks who are places in front of their last voluntarily chosen places of residence.
Together with Aktives Museum Südwestfalen in Siegen we like to show you around the city center of Siegen, tell you about the people and how German citizens cope with this part of history.
