Goal of the Activity
The goal of the Basel Stadtlauf is to bring the community together in a festive and active way, allowing participants of all fitness levels to enjoy a scenic run through the illuminated old town while promoting health, sportsmanship, and the holiday spirit.
Description
The Stadtlauf is a 5.5 km running race, and this year marks its 41st edition! You will run through the streets of Basel’s old town, which are already beautifully lit with festive Christmas lights.
Do not worry if you are not in peak shape – there are different pace categories to suit everyone!
