Objective / Goal of the activity
Raising awareness about disabilities and deafness and how people's lives are different with these conditions, all while watching a film.
Description
We watched a very famous film, "The Bélier family", which is a film about the life of a family in which one of the integrants is deaf and has to communicate through sign language, with the help of an interpreter. After the movie we had a discussion about how people live with these conditions and more topics related to them.
Result of the activity
People were happy about the activity and, moreover, some interesting topics came out of the discussion we had at the end, which lasted for a few hours.
