Goal of the Activity

The goal of the Croatian Sign Language workshop for Erasmus students is to promote inclusivity, raise awareness, and enhance cross-cultural communication by teaching basic sign language skills. The activity aims to foster a deeper understanding of the Deaf community in Croatia, encouraging students to break down communication barriers and embrace diversity. It also provides an opportunity for Erasmus students to learn a new language, enrich their cultural experience, and develop a greater sense of empathy and connection with people from different backgrounds.

Description

The Croatian Sign Language workshop for Erasmus students offers a unique opportunity to learn about and engage with the Deaf community in Croatia. In this interactive session, students are introduced to basic Croatian Sign Language (CSL) through hands-on activities, teaching them essential signs, phrases, and cultural aspects of the language. The workshop encourages cross-cultural communication, fostering inclusivity and awareness while giving Erasmus students the chance to connect with new perspectives and improve their language skills in a fun and educational setting.
