The goal of this engaging Sign Language Workshop for international students was to foster a sense of unity, understanding, and inclusivity within our diverse community. By introducing participants to the art of sign language, we aimed to break down language barriers, provide a platform for cultural exchange, and create an environment where international students can connect, communicate, and appreciate the richness of diverse modes of expression.
The event cultivated an inclusive atmosphere where all students, regardless of their linguistic background, felt welcomed and valued.
The event was hosted by a proficient signer, ensuring a knowledgeable and engaging experience. The host provided guidance, shared insights into the importance of sign language, and facilitated a positive and inclusive atmosphere. The event ended with a game of charades where students applied their newly acquired sign language skills to the test.
The event was a part of social impact days, raising awareness for inclusivity.
