2°) Learn how to repair or transform a damaged garment, so that it does not end up in the bin, but also so that the student can use it again and not buy a new one (a new one can be expensive and he or she may not have the means to do so).
This event took place within the framework of the Semaine Étudiante de l'Écologie et de la Solidarité (Student Week of Ecology and Solidarity) and was labelled under the theme "fight against student precariousness".it was a zero waste sewing workshop. The international students brought their damaged clothes, which need to be repaired. Rather than throwing them away and buying new ones, the international students were able to learn through this sewing workshop how to repair them or transform them into something else that will be useful to them: tote-bag, reusable cotton...
