Because of the International day of forests being the 21st of March, we wanted to make an activity related with this topic, so we organized a debate about the problems that the World is facing right now, discussing matters such as deforestation, global warming, etc. and after that, we did a seed planting workshop where the International Students could see the process of getting a plant to grow.
We went to Casa de Campo, which is a famous Madrid's public park and there, we started with a debate which lasted more than an hour. After that, we gave all of the assistants different varieties of seeds to choose from and substrate to plant the seed on. Also, we asked everyone to bring some empty plastic container they had sitting around their houses, in order to give it a new use.
