According with the local gymnastic Company "Aether", ESN Rimini decided to bring international and erasmus students to a free salsa & bachata class to provide them with a different sport experience. The goal of the activity was also to make them have a funny saturday afternoon practicing a new sport discipline which required them to dance along to the rhythm of latin music, with each other and with other locals from Rimini.
Some ESN volunteers met with about 30 students at the Arch of Augustus and had a 10 minutes walking to the sports hall where the salsa and bachata class was meant to be. At 5pm we gathered at the gym and started the lesson with 2 amazing teachers who taught us the basic steps of the 2 different dances, salsa and bachata. At the end of the lesson they gave us a little performance to show us which skills we could achieve with consistency and training. Everybody at the very end, was sweaty, but definitely satisfied .
