Goal of the activity is to make those who are a minority feel like they are equal members of society.
ESN Dubrovnik organizes a charity initiative and therefore, invites Erasmus and local students to jon them. On December 6th, Croatia celebrates Saint Nicholas' Day, featuring a unique tradition. Children place boots by their beds, and Saint Nicholas visits overnight, leaving sweets for those who behaved well and sticks for those who didn't. While it would be delightful to believe in Saint Nicholas, the truth is that parents are the ones behind the sweet or stick surprises. Unfortunately, there are individuals without caregivers who cannot receive treats for their good behavior. To address this, ESN Dubrovnik aims to donate candies to Foster Home Maslina in Dubrovnik, bringing joy to the children's faces as they have for many years and it became their tradition.
