The primary goal of the Run Club is to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment specifically for individuals looking to start or restart their running journey. WIt provides an accessible, low-pressure pathway to engage in regular physical activity, promoting both mental and physical health. Ultimately, the club aims to strengthen team cohesion and build a vibrant community centered on mutual encouragement and lasting wellness habits.
The first meeting of the Run Club successfully launched our goal to offer students a regular, inclusive opportunity to get active and connect with others. Based on the positive turnout, we are committed to continuing this activity as a permanent club for the student community. During this first meeting, participants engaged in organized run/walk intervals guided by experienced students, ensuring everyone could comfortably participate regardless of their current fitness level.
This activity promotes physical well-being and is a perfect opportunity for students to de-stress, explore the local area, and build supportive relationships. Beyond fitness, the Run Club naturally promotes interaction and friendship, making it an excellent way to integrate into the student community.
