The goal of this activity was to make students aware of unique ways to reuse old materials such as newspapers and other items to create a form of artistic self-expression.
While the previous editions of this event were carried out solely by ESN Yeditepe, this edition was carried out collaboratively with Yeditepe University Environment and Ecology Club. The goal of this activity was to show students how to make beads using old newspapers and magazines and then combining other waste material & beads to create unique art pieces.
After the demonstration, the students started creating their unique accessories while the students from both clubs got to know each other better.
This event was mainly facilitated by ESN Yeditepe's SI Coordinator Dalya who is also continuing her Masters in Arts and Culture Management.
