Goal of the Activity
The aim of the event is to raise awareness among Erasmus students to prevent food waste and to foster integration within the local community where they spend their mobility period. The students took part in a voluntary activity that would benefit the local community.
Description
Given the great response from Erasmus students to the event, we decided to offer it three times during our welcome period. We ESN volunteers together with the Erasmus students met with the Recup association at the market where the Erasmus students started collecting unsold fruit and vegetables, sorting them and delivering them to people most in need. The event usually lasted about an hour.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
