Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to raise awareness on the LGBTQ+ community, their rights, their situation in Italy, etc. in occasion of pride month and of the anniversary of the Stonewall riots.
Description
During the first part of the event, a member of the local Arcigay association held a presentation on what they do and on how they act at the local level, on the recent history of the LGBTQ+ community and the evolution of their rights, and on their current situation in Italy. In the second part the participants had an aperitivo together and could ask further questions in a more informal situation, discuss what they had just learnt and compare it to the situations in their countries of origin.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
