The goal of this activity was to provide every International Student with the chance to learn more about the city of Coimbra, where they are currently living during their mobility period. Given the circumstances, we used one of our most engaging social media pages, Instagram, which allowed us to create an interactive quiz for the participants.
This activity was meant to provide the students with more knowledge about Portuguese culture and history, while engaging in healthy competition at the same time.
The event was promoted during the previous day by using our Facebook and Instagram pages. On the day of the event, we reminded the students by posting an Instastory promoting the quiz, which started at 5:00 pm. There were 12 multiple choice questions about Portuguese culture and about Coimbra, each with three options and only one correct answer. After the quiz, we received really positive feedback from the participants, and many suggested we organise another quiz soon.
