To raise awareness on the issue of the fight against AIDS, the ESN Sui-Generis Basilicata association organized an awareness campaign coinciding with World AIDS Day, in collaboration with the Potenza Committee of the Italian Red Cross.
The activities took place during the morning of Dec. 1, 2022, at the Macchia Romana University Campus in Potenza. During the day, the volunteers gave students an anonymous questionnaire with questions pertaining to sexually transmitted diseases, in order to be able to do a statistical survey on the level of information of young people regarding the issue. In addition, students were provided with free condoms and informational brochures on STD prevention methods. More than 300 students were reached as a result of this awareness campaign.
