The goal of this activity was to celebrate Pride and spread awareness about the size of the value this celebration holds for LGBTQ+ community members.
The talk hosted 3 members of the LGBTQ+ community. Each of them shared their experience and told the participants about their stories and what Pride looks like from their point of view, depending also on the city they lived in (2 of them were Italian and one was from Spain). Involving all the Milan ESN Sections on one side and YesMilano - an important partner we collaborate with through some activities - the event was meant to grant the values and experience of Gay Pride to our international students no matter where they were located at the mment and no matter the pandemic restrictions.
The talk was a very interesting meeting, the participants were curious about the personal experience of the guests and got involved asking them some direct questions. The talk allowed the attendees to confront with people from different backgrounds, encouraging them to expand their horizons and bring such topics into their daily life.
